Mummy Plane & Baby Planes

Planes were flying over our pigeon hole at around lunch time today. This is a snap of three. They were others as well but I was too busy cooking to take photos of the others. Today is a public holiday in Melbourne.

Just in Melbourne? Doesn't everyone get Labour Day? Wow. I didn't know that. Love the picture. Do you think they're part of the Moomba flyover? ;P

Hello and yes, the planes were part of the Moomba flyover. It was also a way to advertise the Air Show at Avalon. I think thats scheduled for the end of this week. If you click on the photo, you might be able to see that the bottom of the "Mummy Plane" was open. This was done so that the camera crew strapped inside could film the other planes behind "her". I found that out on the News.

Oh yeah, Labour Day is bizarre in Australia! According to my diary (which might not be accurate) Labour Day is on 5 Oct for ACT, NSW and SA. For NT and Q, it is on 4 May. WA celebrated theirs last week (2 March). Poor Tasmania doesn't even have one according to my diary. LOL. They misses out on everything. LOL.
